Welder Control Project: March 2024 - May 2025

March 2024:

• Tom contacts NPC about his failing Welder Control PC

• NPC diagnoses the original PC with bad ISA card

• NPC replaces ISA card, Tom pays labor

April 2024:

• Original system continues to have issues

• Tom suggests a backup solution using a Pentium II tower

• Tom asks to proceed with the backup tower plan

May 2024:

• NPC sources a Pentium II tower with ISA slots (per Tom's request)

• On-site visit with MTI technician to assess requirements

• NPC integrates ISA cards into new system

• Tom expresses satisfaction with progress

June-July 2024:

• NPC attempts virtualization using USB-to-ISA adapters

• Tom confirms understanding of the virtualization approach

• Tom picks up his original PC and ISA cards

• Tom agrees to provide ISA specifications from MTI

September 2024:

• Hard drive failure on the Pentium II system

• NPC recovers data and restores system

• No response from Tom about MTI specs

April 2025:

• Tom demands a refund
